possibility of showing/not showing product pictures

Hello,

In some industries it is not allowed to show pictures to consumers in some countries (for example tobacco industry). These restrictions are made by government.
Therefor I'm wondering if it is possible to enable/disable picture viewing by customer roles.
When a user is in a specific role, he can view the product pictures, otherwise he gets a default picture (which is uploaded as well).

I don't think there's a standard feature for this.

But you can easily 'hack' it by using CSS display: none; specified by role.
