Storing Credit Card Numbers

Hi:

Is there a setting to NOT store the CC numbers in the database when using PayPal Direct? I can see they are encryped but I would rather not have them there at all. One less thing to be concerned with.

No, you have to manually purge already used credit card numbers

I would just like to put my voice in as having an option of not storing card numbers. This way, if I'm ever audited for whatever reason, I can prove that I've never even seen the card numbers.

the cart only stores card details when certain options such as 'manual processing' are selected

Where are the card's information stored? I'm using manual credit card and need the information to input into my virtual gateway input screen. Thanks.

It's on order details page (admin area)
