Security Concern

Hi,
How can we know if some case of free plug-in is a safe code to use inside our production website?

I am not expert on coding or software developer, please kindly Nop Team keep on eye on those free plug-in as you could please.

I know NOP Team check it if upload their site. But every one should aware using any .exe file.

Note: Free Plugin should open source. This is not mandatory.

Some plug-in they not provide us a source code!

It is developer choice to make free plugin open source or not.
